This apartment had appealing features, such as exposed stone walls, but faced issues with humidity, poor air circulation, and a general need for repairs. Given the opportunity to renovate, we aimed to create a remarkable space.

Our goal was to transform the property into a surfer’s house in the center of Porto. Here are the key updates:

Kitchen Makeover: We installed new carpentry with a pastel blue beach vibe and added a spacious island/table for a comfortable cooking experience.

Earthy and Pastel Vibes: The entire décor features earthy and pastel tones to create a calming atmosphere.

Home Office: We converted an additional room without a window into an open-space office that communicates with the common area while maintaining privacy for focused work sessions.

Ceiling and Skylight: We raised the ceilings and added a skylight to increase height and bring in natural light, enhancing the property’s airy feel.

The large terrace outside further enhances the appeal, making it a desirable place to stay.
